The most secure way to store a firearm is unloaded, locked, and separate from ammunition. The Safe Storage Program aims to prevent gun-related injuries and deaths by providing free gun storage devices and raising awareness of safe Storage Practices. 

The Safe Storage Program offers several safe storage devices: handgun lock boxes, long gun carrying cases, and cable locks. All adult Wicomico County residents are eligible. No identification is required. Interested residents should call or email to schedule a pickup time.
