Personnel Department

The Wicomico County Health Department is located at the crossroads of Delmarva in beautiful Salisbury, Maryland.  Just 30 minutes from the beach and 90 minutes from the Baltimore / Washington D.C. cultural centers.

Our mission is to maximize the health of citizens by providing access to opportunities that promote physical, behavioral, and environmental health through preventive, educational, assessment, clinical, monitoring and regulatory programs. While our primary function is Health Care, in addition to Health Care professionals, we employ a wide range of clerical and administrative positions. We currently have approximately 210 employees.
