All clients with appointments after 5 p.m. will need to use the back entrance on the 4th floor of the parking garage.

The Wicomico County Behavioral Health Program provides outpatient mental health services for children, adolescents and their families.

To make a referral, please contact  (410) 334-3497 and ask for the referral coordinator.

Children and adolescents referred for services must have parental/ guardian written permission and support to participate in the program.

How do I make an appointment?

For new clients call the Health Department at 410-334-3497 and ask for the clinic coordinator to make a referral. A parent/guardian must call for children under the age of 18.

The Health Department accepts Medical Assistance, Medicare, Primary Adult Care and some private insurances. Please check with your insurance provider to determine if we are “in network”. If your insurance deems the Health Department as “out of network”, we will provide you a list of other options.

There is parking along Main Street to access the front entrance of the Health Department. Parking on Main Street is metered parking and will cost $.25 for each 20 minutes of parking.

There is additional parking in the parking garage attached to the back of the Health Department. Back door access to the Health Department is located on the 4th floor of the parking garage. All parking in the garage is $1.00 hour.

Free two hour municipal parking is located across from the Wicomico County Library.
