WICOMICO COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Substance Abuse Grant – FY27

 

         The Wicomico County Health Department (WiCHD) is soliciting Letters of Interest from Evaluators to provide services for our Substance Abuse Block Grant. The Evaluators will need to be able to assist in the following areas: 

  • Assist with determining needed tools for specific data outcome, which may include development of surveys, focus groups, and other qualifying tools.
  • Assist WiCHD in the approval process for research activities through the Maryland Department of Health Institutional Review Board.
  • Analyze data outcome 
  • Attend Strategic Prevention Framework and Substance Abuse Block training events that are offered throughout the year.
  • Assist WiCHD and Drug Free Wicomico in updating the strategic plan based on guidance from and approved by the Maryland Department of Health. 

Letters of Interest should be sent to the Wicomico County Health Department, Seth T. Hurdle Building, 108 E. Main Street, Room 216, Salisbury, Maryland 21801 to the attention of Hope Balam. The deadline is Friday, October  9, 2026, at 3:00pm EST. No late submissions will be accepted. 

The Wicomico County Health Department reserves the right to reject any Letter of Interest or waive any technicality it deems in the best interest of the agency.
